• A Rated Load standard for fixed height chairs (AFRDI 151) has been released.
  • AS/NZS 3813:2016 Plastic monobloc chairs has been released. This replaces the 1998 version.
  • AS 4688.1:2018 Fixed height chairs – safety and general requirements has been released. 4688.1 was first published in 2000; then reviewed in 2007 but withdrawn in 2008.
  • AS/NZS 4442:2018 Office desks, workstations and tables has been released. This standard replaces the 1997 version.
  • AS/NZS 4610:2020 Furniture – school and educational has been released in the following 3 parts, where each standard replaces the relevant 1999 version:
    1. Tables
    2. Chairs
    3. Storage furniture.
  • AFRDI 169 Office screens was released in 2022.
  • AFRDI 142 Rated Loads for office chairs was updated and expanded in August 2023 to include a new 185 kg test level.
